In the context of historical seismology, studying behaviour historic masonry buildings is great importance, as they are witnesses past events. While interesting methods can be found in literature to assess seismic vulnerability structures subject strong earthquakes, topic moderate seismicity, encountered many European countries, still investigated. The present work proposes a global methodology build fragility curves for existing buildings. An efficient computational method address non-linear response presented. based on modal decomposition structural response. equivalent single degree freedom oscillator identified main modes. modelling strategy enables carry out numerous computations with low effort, allowing probabilistic approach.
